I bought raw Gulf Shrimp to use. They looked great! Unfortunately, they were a little bit overcooked because we had issues pop up and did not get the boil drained quickly enough. The shrimp were rubbery! It all tasted delicious, but the shrimp was just too tough. <br /><br />I think moving forward, I will cook the shrimp first and remove it when ready. The rest of the ingredients can easily be cooked after and aren't too time sensitive.
